Summertime for homeschoolers? Oh come now, we all know that learning is never ending and summer is the perfect opportunity to learn about topics that maybe we never thought about during the other seasons. Take advantage of the beautiful days to sit outside, gaze at the clouds, watch for butterflies, start a garden... I think I'll hide all my pencils until autumn. TM :)
My goodness, time sure has a way of settling in and making itself comfortable while the children seem to grow smarter and smarter everyday. Homeschool has a way of putting the calendar in the back of the closet and keeps one in the present moment and not think about what's penciled in, especially in the summer.

I've started reading a lot of blogs about home schooling - it's not so big here in the UK, but our daughter has been expressing an interest in the possibility for her children, once they are old enough.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts Stephen... As a homeschool family, we tend to do things on our own terms and it IS awesome! :) Comments are closed.
