As soon as we decided that homeschool was our best option, I started my research and looked in the phonebook. Yes, this was before Google search! Ha! And guess what? You can't find "homeschool" in the yellow pages! Listed here are links to help you get started. It's always changing and sometimes links are broken but it's a start and I'll get to those broken links eventually. Get used to it as homeschool parents are always doing their research! :)
So Cal Homeschool- Great place to start if you live in California. Cindy put a LOT of thought and info in creating this site. Helpful for new homeschoolers and those who have been doing it for years.
California Homeschool Network (CHN)- This is the go to for all info in California. You can get lost in there so maybe leave some bread crumbs to find your way back! :) Their resource page is outstanding and you can probably find your lost cousin in the mix... okay, kidding, but did I mention this site has it all?
A2Z Homeschooling- This site has been around for a long, loooong time and created by homeschool Mom, Ann Zeise. Ann no longer runs this website, but it's still up and running and has homeschool info/resources from around the world. Truly an outstanding resource for the homeschool community.
Hifalutin Homeschooler- Sometimes you just need another view, another homeshooler that lets you know that, yep, you're not the only one! Jennifer Cabrera IS that homeschooler, plus she'll make you laugh out loud. Laughing is good, especially when you're a homeschooler that hides in the closet from your kids! :)
